Highly ornamental , large and dramatic ‘globe thistles’. Sow indoors March to June in trays of seed compost. Keep moist and cover with glass or polythene. Keep at approximately 15-20 degrees C. Remove cover when seedlings appear. Harden off and plant out in flowering position from September to October spacing 45cm apart. Flowers July to September the following year.
